Hello everyone! I've been lurking on this page for about a week now and figured I should introduce myself! 
I had my daughter, Brooklyn, on September 21st at 33 weeks and 5 days. I had preeclampsia and was in the hospital for 5 days before I had to have an emergency c-section when I developed HELLP syndrome. Not exactly what's had in mind for my first pregnancy but Brooklyn is amazing and perfect! She is in NICU and will probably stay for another week or two (hopefully not two!). Really she's just being monitored and needs to get better at eating on her own. She took a bottle for the first time last night! And she's getting better and better at breast feeding. The nurses here seem to think that breast feeding is the only option but I think a bottle is just fine - it's still my milk! I'd rather get her home faster. Plus, my husband would like to be able to feed her too.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi. You all have already been a great help and comfort to me - even though you didn't know it.
