My child knows maybe a handful of words, and out of those words he really only uses 5ish regularly. Let me give you the list of words he says at least once daily:

1. dada

2. dat (that)

3. up

4. Zaley (our dog)

5..... Roomba....

That's right. He says Roomba. Out of the 5 words he uses most, Roomba is probably the 2nd most said word only following "dat". And the other 3 words are pretty easy words, Roomba is tough! And he says it really well.

Just thought it was pretty humorous considering he doesn't even day "mama" yet. Haha

He used to be so curious about it, but terrified. And then MH had the bright idea of teaching him it's not scary and showing him how to press the button. Now we can't keep him away! He loves turning it on and off and putting his toys on it to watch it carry them around the house. Sometimes I will go get him in the morning and it will be the first word out of his mouth and we will have to go see it before he will do anything else!

I take it you like your Roomba?  Talk to me about it!  I am thinking of asking for one for Christmas but don't know how to figure out which one to get or how it will work.

We love it! MH is OCD about cleanliness and the floors is one thing he is pretty picky about. We have a pet door for our 2 dogs and they are always bringing in dried up leaves and grass and dirt, so we use our Roomba at least once every 2-3 days, sometimes daily.

I honestly am not sure what model we have, but we got it as a wedding gift. I believe it was the $299 model, but I hear the cheaper ones work great as well.

It is not for heavy duty vacuuming or to replace vacuuming, as the dust compartment fills up fast. But if you vacuum once a week, or even once every 2 weeks (like I do) the Roomba will do a great job keeping it clean between vacuums. I highly recommend it!

I saw the video on facebook and love how he says it with such ease. To me, he looks like he is thinking, it's no big deal mom!

Bryson loves our too.  He thinks it's hilarious to turn it off and on.  I have to set the schedule on it so it runs while we're gone or it never gets to finish because he stops and starts it constantly.

We have a Roomba.  I don't think E has ever seen it on.  Now I'm kinda curious what would happen.

I love mine so much that if my house caught fire, it'd be something I'd run in to save.  I have two dogs and I shed just as much as they do, yet I only vacuum for real once a week or less.
