    4) Your update Nothing as of yet. Just resting away on the couch.
    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week? I was icing my butt at work on Monday for my morning PIO shot and had to get up to get something. My ice pack ended up falling out of my underwear and slid all the way down my leg and out the bottom of my pants- in the middle of the hallway and in front of one of our doctors. It made me laugh harder than it probably should have.

DOR. AMH is undetectable. AFC is 4 to 5. High fsh is 13 with elevated E. Also have a fragile x pre mutation.

    1. Screen name - ibackbevo
    2. I am a graduate and assuming this baby is sticky and I get a THB, I am done.
    3. Of ttc? No clue. With this one we never used any form of birth control after I had my ds. I was going to do a freeze all cycle and had gotten on a bunch of supps per my umpteenth re and I am guessing that made a difference compared with ttc #1.
    4. Go to get my ultrasound on Friday. Fx there is a heart beat.
    5. I am getting my hair done today. Always love a new do.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier

    2) where are you at in the process? (Currently cycling, on a break, pregnant, etc...)
I am currently about 10 and a half weeks pregnant with my first child after a high dose IVF cycle!

    3) which cycle are you on?
I am not sure what cycle I was on anymore- I started treatments in January and tried for about a year or so prior.

    4) Your update
I have my next OB appt in 3 weeks. A month stretch is too anxiety producing for me but hopefully everything is still okay.

    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week?
It has been a tough week with my husband in the ER twice (GI issues and we are getting no answers on the cause) but my pets have made me laugh many times despite the worry!

Thanks for starting this back up!!

    2) where are you at in the process? (Currently cycling, on a break, pregnant, etc...)
Taking a break after IVF#1 failed in late August.

    3) which cycle are you on?
I just looked it up. Cycle 48. Holy hell. This month marks three years of trying.

    4) Your update
Since the week of our negative beta, DH and I haven't spoken much at all about what happens next, but we know we have two frozen embryos. When we have talked, there's been a load of tension. It's really stressful. I hate being in limbo. RE said we could do FET in early November, and I'm on board. Just not sure about DH. Which is weird and complicated. Sigh...

    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week?
I got my hair cut and colored...needed it pretty bad! And DH and I are going out of town this weekend, so that's a bonus! (And maybe a good time to talk more...)

Began TTC #1 in Sept. 2010. I was 33, DH was 36.. Dx with DOR and slight MFI (8/4/11).

    2) where are you at in the process?- We are on a break as far as treatment goes while we save for IVF,  we had been "trying naturally" since we started saving but this month we have decided to take a IF mental break
    3) which cycle are you on?- We are going on our 38th month since I initially talked to my OB about starting to actually "try", and not just the surprise me "if it happens, it happens" plan
    4) Your update- There isn't much really to update in my neck of the woods
    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week? - I started a new job Monday that will pay more, and make the saving plan go by a little faster

I got a heart doppler to listen to heart tones when I am having a day filled with worry!  I always get a big smile when I get to hear atleast one of the heartbeats!  I think I am getting both of them now!  It is good to hear them because when I was diagnosed with DOR and having 2 miscarriages.  I really never thought this day would come.  People dont understand why I bought a doppler because "they didnt"  but when  you walk in our shoes it is seriously the best thing to calm your nerves : )

  • Hi DOR ladies - It's been a while since I have seen this group. Glad to have a check in :)

    1) your screen name - Darby17

    2) where are you at in the process? Starting cycle 3 of a freeze all for genetic testing/embryo banking.  From the first two cycles, I only have 1 frozen blast waiting for CCS testing. So I am praying that this last cycle will give me soemthing to add to the lonely blast.  (*In reality this is going to be retrieval #7 all together).  I'm on a different protocol this time. It sounds like the "japanese" protocol. I am going to be on clomid starting on day 1 until I trigger. They'll add in small amounts of FSH every other day starting on day 6 or 7.  I am a poor responder and never got more than 5 eggs (3 was the most recent).  So I am not expecting much, but hopefully it will be a decent protocol for me. *If anyone has experience with this type of protocol please chime in :)

    3) which cycle are you on? Technically 3rd IVF. I did a stupid egg banking study that put me behind 6 months (two retrievals, no transfer). Now I am on a 3 cycle, freeze all.
    4) Your update: One more week of BCPs, I'll start stims on 10/10.

    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week?   My sweet dog always makes me smile :)

Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara, injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! Zero eggs survived thaw process - FET Cancelled. New RE - Now banking Embryos for PGS - July ER- 3 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 1 genetically normal embryo! • Hi all! I usually post on 3T, but belong in this check in.

    1) your screen name STBMrsMiller, but I've been Mrs Miller for almost 6 years.

    2) where are you at in the process? (Currently cycling, on a break, pregnant, etc...) In the middle of a hybrid femara / menopur cycle, IUI on Saturday!

    3) which cycle are you on? 2nd medicated, 18th total. No pregnancies.

    4) Your update. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for this cycle. I truly think we are moving forward with IVF next cycle, probably back to back retrievals. RE has me on DHEA to help the chances with DOR.

    5) QOTW: What is something that has made you laugh or smile this week? Big Bang theory's new episode tonight.

  • Thanks for getting this going!
1- Screen name: Muddyriver. Have DOR with highest FSH of 13 but AFC has been 10-31 over the past few months. Poor response to prior stim cycles.

2-where are you in the process: on OCPs about to start stimulations later this month.

3-which cycle: about to start IVF attempt # 4 but if I get past the first few days it will be retrieval # 3 (first cycle cancelled to poor response)

4-My update: Am on DHEA, CoQ, trying to stay optimistic that I just need the right protocol and enough chances and luck to have a BFP.

5-something that made me smile- the hope from all of you that BFP is possible even with DOR.
