Just out of curiosity, what is your most productive time of day at home and at work?
I can't make it past 9pm most days, but early in the morning when the house is still asleep I get a burst of energy to load the dishwasher, switch the laundry, etc.
Then, by the time I get to work I'm tired again! I usually get my burst of energy after lunch, which is when I am most productive at work.
Any tips to maintain a consistent level of productivity? Or do you just take advantage of it when it happens?
Re: Most Productive Time of Day
I am most productive at work in the afternoon.
At home I'm most productive from getting off of work until the kids go to bed, but that's mostly out of necessity. That time is around 3 hour and DH and I rush to get ALL THE THINGS DONE. Then we relax when the kids go to bed as it is our only time to ourselves.
At home, I'm most productive on the weekends. I try to get housework done while DD naps. I also get a fair amount done on Sunday evenings; we're usually just lounging around so it's easy to throw in a load of laundry, etc.
At work I'm most productive in the mornings. I like to get things done first thing rather than having them hang over my head all day.
At home, I'm productive after the kiddos go to bed at 9pm. Then I shower, prep clothes and food for the next day, do some general tiding up, then get to bed around 1130pm.
