Low HCG

I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. Hcg is 39.5. Progesterone is 55.27. Really great progesterone. My doctor's nurse called with the results & was really happy with the numbers but I'm a mess. Hcg is too low. I'm guessing it'll be over by next week. I've been down this road 5 times. :(

    Plus, I have had period cramps since Sunday and that's making it worse.

    Aww I know nothing about #s :( I hope it turns out to be sticky anyway.

    Did the nurse think it was too low? Or is that your personal fear? I thought a girl on here way back had HCG of 20 and was 11 dpo.

    Forgive me. I really am ignorant on the numbers :-/

    She didn't. She said it was a really good number. I just had a pregnancy start at 40 three years ago, so I panicked. Anything above 5 is considered pregnant. At 4 weeks, between 5 & 429 is normal. It's just lower than I imagined & the cramps are not helping alleviate my fears.

    Dx PCOS/LPD 5/2013 - Rx Metformin (1500mg) and GF diet

    BFP #4 6/10/13 - CP 6/12/13

    8/2013 Rx for low dose Naltrexone

    9/2013 DH's SA showed low motility/morph/viability

    10/2013 Lap removed multiple areas of scar tissue adhesions and opened blocked tube.

    BFP #5 1/24/2014 - EDD 10/3/2014

    This could be it! Grow baby!

    Praying. Maybe you just had a late implanter. My HCG was 51. It's the doubling that they look at.

    Oh and I was real crampy in the beginning too. Hope everything turns out well.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)

    KC1212 is correct we did have someone not to long ago with a low beta and her pregnancy was a good one. I am so sorry it's not higher but it just needs to double. Good luck I will be thinking of you and sending you good vibes. Don't count yourself out yet. Hopefully your cramps mean good things.

    *I'm lurking*  Don't give up hope! It's all about doubling time. My first HCG level was 45, which freaked me out,  but what I didn't realize until later was that I was still only 12dpiui and basically 2 days before AF was due. My next beta was 301. Fingers crossed that this is the case for you!

    I know nothing about numbers either, but it sounds like you're not out of it yet!  Fingers crossed that this little one hangs in there.

    So sorry you have to add the stress of this in. I've heard of pregnancies starting low and as long as they double it's ok! Fx for you!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!
