no period and a BFN

edited October 2013 in Babies on the Brain
Hey Ladies, I am new to the board and this is my first post here. Around my son's first birthday, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism after seeing the dr about irregular cycles. I started meds and my cycles became more regular. We decided its time to TTC. This is our third cycle, which I understand is not a long time to TTC, but I am at a loss. I am cycle day 40 with no sign of a period and a bunch of BFNs. Do I go back to the dr? Anyone else TTC with hypothyroidism?

  • Edited post. I didn't mean to say 'fighting with TTC'. I am sorry if that sounded insensitive.

  • No experience with hypothyroidism, but sometimes a cycle just gets wonky. It might help your peace of mind to chart and then you will know when/if you have ovulated and better know when to expect your period.
