how long did u stim for?

Hi girls! My first cycle I stimmed for 9 and second time 10 days. My re increased gonal f instead of menopur this time it seems to be going much slower. Tonight will be my 12th night of stims and dr thinks ill need couple more nights after tonight. I was just wondering if being on stims for about 15 days affect egg quality. Thanks for any input in advance to ease my mind.

I stimmed 10 days. Meds in my siggy. I have a good friend IRL who was a very slow stimmer when they finally just let her go long (I can't remember how many days now), they were finally successful. Good luck and fx this is your cycle!

I also stimmed for 10 days. I don't have any experience with a longer amount of time, sorry I'm no help there. Good luck and I hope this cycle works out for the best!

Not a frequent poster, hope it's ok to chime in. I stimmed for 12 days gonal-f/menopur, cycle was almost cancelled at 9 days due to poor response, then day 11 was given the go ahead and we were successful, baby girl born last Feb! Good luck to you, I'm sure all these days of drugs are taking a toll on you physically and emotionally, hang in there.

I was a fast stimmer as well. Triggered on day 9. That being said, I've read tons of blogs and stories where slower stimmers ended up with a successful pregnancy. I wish you tons of luck.

I stimmed for 13 and 14 days and was eventually on the max doses of Gonal-F and Menopur (meds gradually increased during first cycle, started off at max dose for second cycle) . I have DOR, so we had low numbers of embryos retrieved both times, but all were good to excellent quality. I have 3 LOs and 1 frostie from those long stim cycles. Good luck!!

First time with DS I stimmed for 17 days. I didn't respond to the first drug so took a bit. Second time with this pregnancy stimmed for 14 days. Hang in there!!!

I stemmed for 14 days. They worried about egg quality but it ended up being a wildly successful cycle (positive pregnancy and six frozen blasts). Keep the faith! ( 20 eggs retrieved)

Hi girls just wanted to say thank you it was so slow at beginning but I went yesterday morning and in one day my 16 was largest went to a 19.5mm follicle! So I did 13 nights of stims going back for u/s and b/w this am and probably triggering tonight. Sunday I only had 6 measureable and now have 19 so my ovaries finally woke up! lol. Since my last cycle gave me twin boys I was so nervous I was never going to get there so thank you so much for the support. )
