Vacation w/o kids, need ideas for small gifts/notes

Hey guys,

My DH and I are taking a cruise this month for our 10 year anniversary.  We'll be gone for 11 days total and the boys are staying with my parents.  I'm thinking it might be cute to leave notes/letter and a little treat for the boys each day we're gone.  Has anyone done this?  Does anyone have any great ideas along these lines?  My boys are 3.5.
