Update- good news & bad ugh!

Hi there! I had my follow up ultrasound today. The good news is there was growth. Sac was 9mm from 3 last Tuesday. But still no yolk sac or fetal pole. I'm so confused!!! My doctor seems to think I'm about 4-5 wks but by my calculations I'm 5 wks 5 days. I ovulated on the 5th of Sep. does this make sense? Also- TMI but I've had slight,y discolored secretion (light brown) a few times when I wiped since yesterday. Dr took blood to make sure my numbers are still rising and will let me know tomorrow. If they are ok I get another sono next Monday. Fx!!!!

    @veganlady congrats on your pregnancy! We have the same due date.. FX!!!! I'm so confused!!! I hada d&c July 25th. My next period came on the 21st of Aug. Based on that I should be 5 wks 5 days with my O date 9/4. My dr thinks since I just had a d&c my O date must've been later after looking at sono. But- I know we didn't have sex past 9/5. So I can't be a whole week behind..

    I'm sorry for your limbo. I hope the blood test shows rising numbers. a week off isnt uncommon. sperm live for 5 days. FX for you!

    I went in at 6 weeks and had an empty sac. My numbers were still going up in the normal range. When I went back a week later, there was our baby with a good heartbeat! Don't give up hope!

    Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation. 

    Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
    Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
    Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
    Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP!  EDD: 6/7/14

    Thank you for all your thoughts! No, I was not temping. Idk sperm could live that long so that's promising! Staying cautiously optimistic and hoping for a very high number tomorrow!!! Thanks again for your help and ill update you ASAP!

    If it's any comfort, with both of my pregnancies where I had an early ultrasound, I was supposed to be 7 wks and was only 5 1/2. And I'd known when I'd ovulated! Sometimes I think our bodies just do silly things. Definitely sending thoughts and prayers, though, I know things like that are nerve wrecking.
