Need pear dessert recipes

I have 11 very ripe yellow pears. What can I make with them? Does anyone bake them? How do you do it?

I have made the pear crisp @emkatrine just recommended. It is OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! You can't go wrong with PW recipes. That bitch knows her food!

Pear strudel (sp?) Pear pie with a brown sugar crumble on topping. Yum!

I'm on the iPad and will apologize in advance because I don't think any paragraphs will show up, but here ya go... Pear cream pie: 1/2 c whipping cream 1/2 c milk 1 tsp vanilla pinch of salt 1 Tbsp flour 1 c sugar 4 or 5 ripe pears Mix flour and 3/4 c sugar with all ingredients except pears. Place sliced pears in pie crust and cover with cream mixture. Sprinkle other 1/4 c sugar and a little cinnamon on top. Bake at 425 for 10 mins and then 350 for 45 mins. Pie will set once cool.
