Beginning Monday, October 21st, B’nai Israel Congregation will again offer a five-week series for Jewish expectant parents, entitled "L'Mazel." This series of informal gatherings will include topics such as details for planning a brit milah (ritual circumcision) or naming/simchat bat (welcoming ritual for a baby girl) and values for Jewish parenting. In addition, we have added a special infant care presentation by a medical professional. The class will run for five consecutive weeks on Monday evenings, beginning October 21 from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. Single parents, interfaith couples, and couples considering adoption are all welcome. The program is open to both B’nai Israel members and non-members.
