I'll join in !!
We had to do some renovations in our upstairs after having an energy efficency test done. So, that being said, we have removed the seaweed insulation (dates the house doesn't it) and put back in new insulation. DH put up new walls, and all the work required in that task was daunting to say the least. We have painted it our base color, but are waiting till we find out the sex to do the other color accents in the room. DH also removed the old light fixture and put in four smaller potlights on a dimmer (he's a keeper I tell ya!). We have the crib and dresser bought, but are still looking for a rocker/glider and a night stand.
It nice to see progress made, but we won't be able to set up the crib or dresser until Christmas due to family visiting and our 'roommate' who is leaving us soon (spares up our quest room).
sorry, this took a scary turn into Rant-ville....
