Hi everybody!

It's going okay over here.  Just injecting Lupron, waiting for baseline, which should be next week sometime (on or before October 8).  My donor starts stims October 14.  I'm so glad this cycle is underway, and just hoping that nothing goes wrong this time!

3 favorite hobbies:  I would say gardening, hiking, and reading.  Also, eating dinner with friends, though not sure that counts as a hobby!  Nothing too esoteric . . .  my husband is the one with weird, intensive hobbies, lol.

Hi ladies, thanks for the support lately with the latest loss. I started my period yesterday (man was that intense) and I'm looking to cycle again late November. After that, we will be pursuing domestic infant adoption.

We welcomed our baby boy yesterday morning at 10:19. He was over a week early but weighed almost 10 lbs. His name is John Daniel - huge and healthy guy. We are so thankful for both of our donors for giving us our family. Continued encouragement to everyone still on their way. Think of you all the time!

How is it going? If you are TTC, what are your next steps? We are for sure doing one more round of DIUI in October, after that I really don't know. It's been a hard few months! Just waiting for this current cycle to be over (2 more weeks) and we will get going on the next round.

QOTW: What are you three favorite hobbies/things to do? I love to workout, cook, read, enjoy wine and travel (I can't keep it to just 3!)

At our WTF the RE said we could move right into our FET if we wanted, so we said yes and got our calendar on Friday. So I start estrace again this week and if all looks good our transfer will be October 18th.

Hobbies? Humm... Reading, Running and traveling if/when we have time.

Update: Not much new. My dad went into the hospital yesterday because he kept passing out and they can't figure out what is causing it, so that has been pretty stressful for me. Have an OB appointment tomorrow so hopefully this does not have an adverse affect on my BP since it was doing well the past month.

AFM: I started BCP last Friday and have not had a problem with it, although I did wake up feeling very nauseous last night. I take the pill right before bed so hopefully I can sleep though any future nausea episodes. SIS is the 9th and then I start meds the 14th!

QOTW: My hobbies are baking, reading, and eating...that can be a hobby, right?

ETA: Ok, so maybe the BCP is having more of an impact than I thought... I have been quite the crier today!

Update: I had blood work today to I think confirm my blood clotting disorders. Once those results are in I'll have a consult with my RE to talk about whether or not we will proceed with another transfer or not.

QOTW: My hobbies are playing softball or volleyball in various leagues throughout the year with friends, and then outside of that watching TV? I know it's lame but I love some shows, LOL. And I love watching sports (football and baseball, mostly).

Update: I already updated everyone about my transfer yesterday, but wanted to share something with everyone.

This was our 1st cycle not using genetic material from either of us and I was not sure if the process would feel differently for me or my husband.

I was pretty whatever about everything until they told us how many embryos we had. That was when they became ours and we were immediately in love with them. We have been incredibly worried about them and they have been in our thoughts since we learned of their existence.

We do not love them any less than any of the other embryos we've had.
I didn't think the bond would be instant or so intense.

We would be so very lucky if this works-

This is a hard update for me. I'm still having quite a rough time and know it takes time but the emotions are still so raw. I had to go do another blood test today and dr said my Hcg is getting lower but I still need to go back next Monday. This is just cruel. A week ago today I lost my first pregnancy and today started bleeding again and have had some horrible cramps. Im hanging in there ladies and hope to be back to posting regularly again soon but right now I just don't have it in me. I truly love all the support you guys have given me and it makes me cry seeing all the positive thoughts from you all so for that I thank you all so much!
I will be back supporting although all very soon I hope!!

Hey everyone, I am the newbie on this board. Lacy sending my thoughts and prayers to you.

How is it going? Well things could be better. Went in for my hormone level check and to see if i ovulated since i just had a mc. Everything is fine. I ovulated. But now I think I have a really big cyst. Very painful and this time I actually see it protruding on my left side. Uuuuggghh. I hate this.

If you are TTC, what are your next steps? Baseline is next week. Hopefully cyst would have shrunk enough by then so I will not be benched

HUGE hugs to all that need them right now. Lacy, I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you are going through right now. Take all the time you need to grieve and heal.

Not much new with me. I hit 30 weeks yesterday which is pretty exciting. Had OB appt yesterday and all looks great. I am still measuring on the smaller side, around 29 weeks, but apparently there is a +/- 2-week range of error so paired with that and my recent ultrasound, dr isn't concerned. So excited to be slowly inching closer to the finish line!

Q: Working out, socializing with friends and family..is shopping a hobby?

Not much to say on my end, finally graduated to ob/gyn last week and am almost16 weeks!  Starting to feel comfortable telling people.  Happy to have a bit of a bump>  Just praying things stay this way.

Hello all. I'm so sorry for everyone with sad news this week.

Uodate: we didn't even get the chance to test this cycle, as AF showed up nice and early. This was my shortest luteal phase so far, 11 days. The cramps this cycle were the worse I have ever had. Just a small kick in the face.

I had a hard time with this cycle 's bfn, but had a wonderful heart to heart with my acupuncturist. Looks like we might be taking a month or two off so she can do some more aggressive treatments. We are also going to consult with an RE that works with our acupuncturist. We will see where that takes us.

QOTD: I love to read, cook, bake, sew... But even more so, I absolutely love hiking/backpacking and hockey. Right now I just cheer on my wife (who is on a travel team) but one day I want to learn how to skate and play.

Yep, we are on IUI #3 right now. DW got IUI today, had 3 follies that were good sized (23, 22, 18). We are hopeful, but it is hard to keep gearing up for something that may or may not happen. DW is currently all zonked out from the trigger shot and hormones, which I think is endearing.

Favorite hobbies?  Getting pregnant! ; )  That seems to take up most of my time--well, the thinking about it, anyway.  And then I suppose building small things around our place and art.  I'm looking forward to making some small sketches this week.

It's been a long few weeks, but we just got confirmation this morning via U/S that there's one healthy looking baby on board with a strong heartbeat! We're over the moon excited! Our GS will be back on the 21st for the 9w ultrasound, and then we'll be released to her regular OB! EDD May 24, 2014.

QOTW: What are you three favorite hobbies/things to do?

Favorite hobbies are reading, volunteering, and going to concerts.

I havent been on in a while...Hope everyone is doing well!

I did DE IVF with transfer on 9/5.  got a +test on 9/13 - beta 94.  second beta on 9/15 of 230.  One week later i took a pregnancy test, negative x2.  Went in for bloodwork on monday 9/23 and beta was almost negative.  miscarriage was confirmed that day via ultrasound.  =( 5wks3daysPT.

Started my second cycle this past monday.  FET set for 10/28. 

How do we begin to trust the process after its failed us?  I mean its not like i have anything to else to trust but the physicality of the process but its hard.  I keep wondering why the m/c happened and not only that but how do we know it wont happen 2, 3, 4 more times?? we only have 3 frozen embryos left.....

@klaganza I am so sorry. It very much stinks that these DE cycles don't work on the first try for some. I am only doing one cycle and I'm so scared. Big hugs to you.

Let's face it....having to use TPR to hopefully build your family is hard enough, but dealing with one or repeated failures is just adding insult to injury.  I hate to say it, but many of us are in the same boat and totally understand the hurt, frustration, anger, etc.

With that said, my DH and I have decided to hold off transferring our last 2 embryos until January 2014.  Hopefully, a little break will get both of us in a better place, both physically and emotionally.  But, I will continue to support all of you that are cycling through the end of this year...so I have no plans to leave this board.
