Babies on the Brain

Talk some sense into me...

How long does it take to freaking come off birth control...
I've been around long enough to know the answer is actually 6months to a year.
However, I got my last depo shot in March and stopped nursing in March and my first postpartum period in June.
The crazy spotting and period/bleeding every 2 weeks and fluctuating hormones is killing me.

I've been lucky enough, even between pregnancies to be "regular"(1 period a month and no spotting in between) once I got a period. This is just nuts.
I feel like I should be worried because of the uterine rupture. like maybe there's something wrong in there that is making me bleed so much.
Once again, my brain knows better but the constant spotting is making me crazy.

  • I'd see someone about that. I would think that it would be okay to be safe instead of sorry and find out what's going on. Did this ever happen between your other pregnancies? Ps -I saw your user name and just have to know.... What king of farm are you on? I work in the dairy industry which is why I am "cow girl" (except it didn't come out like that when I joined lol).
  • @CowgirlK39
We are a cash crop farm. Corn, wheat, and dry beans.
I love seeing other people in agriculture on here!!

  • I had a depo shot and breastfed, and from the time I got my first post-partum period, it took 5 months to get back to a regular cycle.  I would bleed every other month, then every other week, it was terrible.  I'm never using depo again.
