I just bought a pair today. I know they aren't the most stylish, but I need really comfortable shoes for teaching. Are the worth the money? I used to love Merrils but couldn't find a pair to work with dress pants.
They aren't comfy IMO until you break them in. Your feet will hurt for a little bit, but stick with it, it's worth the pain. And you can usually take them to where you bought them to get them stretched a bit.
They are the only shoes I wore when working 12hr shifts as a nurse. I have them in 7 different colors.

Danskos were all that my poor flat feet could tolerate as a teacher. I swelled right out of my last pair with this pregnancy and they still don't fit right, but I hope I'll get back in them soon.
Sanita clogs ar basically the same, and they come up on Zulily a lot. I also often find Danskos at Nordstrom Rack.
Thanks, I don't usually spend more than a $100 on shoes, but I really need a good pair. The appearance is starting to grow on me. When I tried them on, my husband called them clown shoes:)
