Lyric and Adelaide

First: I am not using this name or considering it!

I was watching some channel we get with our antennae and there was a teen girl with the name lyric, I couldn't decide if it sounded sort if cool unique or weird unique.

Second name was the victim on criminal intent . Adelaide, was for a boy.

Edit: just really wondering if anyone else has heard, used etc. I don't think I would do it. Too unique for me

I could use Lyric as a mn, but not fn.  Adelaide for a boy?  I've always thought of it as a girl name for sure.

I have known two Lyric's. Both girls. One had a mom named Lynn and a dad named Rick . . . She also had a younger sister named Harmony. Their brother's name was Rhythm. Ok, I'm kidding about Rhythm. I have always liked the name but it seems to hippyish. Adelaide is beautiful . . . On a girl.

Lyric is eh. It's ok but makes me think the parents had to point out that they're into music.

Adelaide is definitely girls name, and pretty for a girl.

As for Lyric it's unique but I wont lie I like it! I've heard it before and always liked the sound of it.

I like Lyric on someone else's kid. I think word names are nice and I like the meaning of "lyric," we're just not particularly musical so the name doesn't appeal to me. I love Adelaide on a girl, and think possibly it was a different name...?

I know of a lyric and I think it sounds like you're trying way too hard to have an usual name or as a PP said a musical name.
I have a friend who has a son called coda which is actually a musical term (they aren't into music) and think that it a very cool name. But lyric? No.
