initials spelling a word? (so dumb)

yes, it's early, but DH and I have picked our 2 favorites, a boy name, and a girl name.  Both start with the same letter (coincidentally)...we have alternates on the middle names.

one set of options would give us the word EGG (hence the name "lilegg")  we've already taken to referring to the once failed, so yet to be conceived again child as "lil' egg", I have no idea how this got started, DH thinks it's adorable.  I fear that the initials will forever have the child teased as "egghead" - DH doubts it.  

with the other names the sentiment would still be the same, (first and last would still be EG) - but not actually spell it out.  Honestly, I think he just likes the EGG name combos better...whereas I prefer the EG names.

Our daughter's initials are OKS, an we call her OK when we text. Our favorite boy name is William Edward, which means his will be WES, and we though Wes would be a funny NN!

I love the nn Wes!  Lucky you can get it as a nn without having to actually name a child Wesley, bleh!

So Everett Graham is awesome, and my worries about teasing are crazy, yes?  

DH says that the kid would have to end up being super smart for that nn tease to work, so if it happens, it would have a silver lining anyway :P

Honestly, I think EGG are initials I would avoid. But if you love the name, go for it. You could do much worse wrt initials
