CoQ-10 Question

I went to GNC to buy our vitamins and the sales person started talking to me about absorbency and other stuff.  Honestly I cant even tell you alot of what he said because I got confused.  I was wondering if using a "special" brand is better than others, and should the amount of milligrams be adjusted if we go with a higher absorbency one.  

Hoping someone has some insight, TIA

I got some for my hubby at Wally World and thought it was pricey. 30 pills 200 mg for $22. Is it cheaper any where else?

When DH was on it, my RE suggested 100mg daily, though I've seen some ladies on here whose husbands were on a little more.  I used to always buy his at Costco, it was way cheaper there.  HTH!

I'd definitely look for a high quality supplement, since many of them out there aren't proven to contain the dosage they claim. You won't need a higher dosage since you'll be getting what you were initially prescribed.

That being said, I NEVER trust the people at any vitamin or natural health store. I am all about natural health and a huge believer in alternative medicine, but store staff are nowhere near being doctors or specialists. They often feel that because they have an interest in vitamins and supplements, they should share their knowledge with the world. I can't even tell you how many times I've overheard staff telling shoppers incorrect information. 

Definitely ask your RE if you can!
