Reflux

Hi! I'm an infrequent poster, but was hoping you ladies could help! My LO will be 8 weeks Sunday, 2 weeks adjusted. He has been taking Zantac for the last three weeks for his reflux. Today out of no where something is not quite right with him. He usually is very happy, never cries and eats and sleeps like a champ. Today though, he just randomly will wake in the middle of his sleep with a painful cry. That will last just a brief while and then he is back to sleep. He does the same thing while nursing. He will be fine and then suddenly pull off the breast while almost wimpering/crying but still trying to suck. Does this sound like reflux to you all?

I called and got the go ahead to up his dosage because he's obviously gained weight since the script was filled, but I'm just hoping this helps the poor guy. Also he doesn't have a temperature or anything of that nature which makes me believe it is reflux. So what do y'all think?! TIA
