How long did you bleed after cervical check?

Had a cervical check 3 weeks ago with no blood .... had one late last night at l&d and immediately started gushing. Went home with it lighter but still there and now this morning i'm still spotting. She told me it should subside within a couple of hours. I'm not alarmed b/c I know it's not bright red and it's not saturating a pad but i'm surprised i'm still having it almost 10 hours later. For those of you who had one, how long did you bleed?? Is 10 hours too long?

Last week, I bled/spotted all day. This week, nothing.

If she told you it should subside in a couple hours and its been 10 hours I would call just to be sure. Could end up being nothing but it couldn't hurt to double check.

Ive only spotted from one cervical check....and it wasnt very much.

My dr said on Wed that as long as im not soaking a pad its ok. But maybe call your dr if you are worried.

3 days until my discharge was completely clear. Day 1 was dark maroon period-looking blood, days 2 and 3 were brown and spotty.

Didn't bleed at all last week, but seem to have brown blood going on right now from yesterday's check.

Had my first check this morning & am still spotting. Drs glove was covered in blood & she was shocked...a little disconcerting but reassured me it was normal.
