I need a new fangirl obsession.

As I mentioned in the FFFC, Louis' little sister has guilted me into halting my latest Larry spiral.  And I can't fangirl just Harry because that will end up sucking me right back into Larry.  So I've decided to step back from 1D altogether at least until the end of November when their new album comes out. In other words, SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND. 

So.

Give me all your suggestions for something new to fangirl.  Could be a show, a band, a book series, a movie, etc etc.  Requirements include plenty of tumblr material to induce a spiral with bonus points for well-written fanfics.

I'm a moderate fan of the NBC's Hannibal but I'm even more of a fan of it's Fannibals on Tumblr and how NBC interacts with them. It's hilarity which is odd since it's a dark show.

The "flower crown" started as a meme amongst fans on Tumblr and the producer of the show started wearing one and having all the cast take a photo with one on. It has no context in the show itself. Presh.

When they were in Adelaide, a bunch of fans camped out in the field behind their hotel.  Apparently it was a snake habitat and Liam got all concerned for the fans' safety and kept warning them away via Twitter.  Finally he was like, "Are u not reading what I'm saying, it's a SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND."  And now people keep tweeting that to him and it's rally funny. 

So I've kind of adopted the phrase to mean something along the lines of, "Hold the fuck up and just stop what you're doing!"

Yes, Daryl! But I don't think I can join his crazy fan base. He did an interview with EW about some of his fans being bat shit crazy. To the point where there were death treats to one of his co-stars. I forgot the details. Crazy stuff!

Although I'm not sure I approve of how muscle-y and meat-headed he is in his new movie.  I prefer him all slender in a  tailored suit like in Inception.
