Rnp infant sleeper recalled???

I'm in the aug 2013 forum and the moms there swear by the rock n play sleeper since my baby boy is struggling to sleep in his own space. However, my own mom found the rnp was recalled in January for mold issues. How did I miss this?

It was recalled, but only because if your LO spits up or sweats in it & you don't regularly wash the material part of it, it can mold.  Really if you use good hygenie & wash on a regular basis, you'll be fine using it!

Make sure it dries completely as well.

I think it was a "voluntary recall" meaning if you actually found mold you could turn it in, but they were not going to recall all of them just for the sake of a recall.
