I think you could say this about many professions. You could say there are too many male presidents, but guess what - it's going to stay that way until more females start running.

The gender balance isn't going to change until more men decide they want to become teachers.

My UO: If it is the day of the date on the milk I won't use it.  I won't even smell it just in case it is sour because that smell makes me sick.  Flame me if you want for wasting milk that may still be good, but I just can't bring myself to smell it or test it due to having to drink/eat cereal with sour milk  when I was a kid. 

If DH is home and he smells/tastes it and says it is okay I will still use it, but if I'm home alone it is getting tossed.

I'm like this with anything near the expiration date.

I disagree with this thought. I agree, in my area, there are not enough male teachers or teachers of different races to represent the diverse culture in Toronto, but you cannot force people to become teachers. As a female teacher I am always being told this. I should not loose a job to someone who is a minority or a male because they want to push this representation in the classroom.

Along the same lines (and I'm sure this might be unpopular): I despise, DESPISE sprinkles or anything crunchy on top of icing with cake/cupcakes whatever. I am still pissed off that Starbucks changed the recipe for their pumpkin bread and cream cheese muffins. They made them more spicy and put the pumpkin seeds on top. I love pumpkin seeds roasted/salted by themselves. However, you bastards (sbux not y'all lol), don't fuck with the texture of my beloved pumpkin bread/muffin by putting the damn seeds on top. 

I feel strongly about this, apparently. Also, I am irrationally annoyed that they only have a dollop of cream cheese in the Pumpkin Muffins now. They used to put the cream cheese all the way through, the cheap fuckers!

I love almost all foods. give me all the sushi, chinese food, pho, chocolate with nuts, noodles, whatever. more for me!! I hope DS isn't picky either. I'm going to feed him everything!

I only drink soy milk, because I'm paranoid that regular milk is going to have gone bad, and I didn't know.  Even if we just bought it. 

Also, I have no intention on making LO go to bed at an early hour.  Her bedtime will most likely always be around 10pm.  DH works from 9am until 7:30-8pm, and if she went to bed at 8pm, like my mom seems to think she should, she would never spend any time with her dad.

I really liked Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. I like shows with a narrator but I don't like medical dramas. Can't stand the blood and yucky stuff.

I do not see how people get into the daytime soap operas though. One has been on my tv for the last 20 minutes and I can't reach the remote while feeding LO. I feel like I'm losing brain cells with each passing second.
And these are the best actors they can get? I could do better...maybe I should move to Hollywood.

OMG! I absolutely love General Hospital. But DH does say I'm killing my brain cells and he thinks I'm permanently scarring LO. Lol. I guess I like TV drama.. Don't have much of my own. My favorite part is texting my mom during the show about what the characters are doing... As if we personally know them.

I loved pumping for DD at work. It really broke up the day and made it seem to go by faster, plus it was 20 minutes to bump or read a book or whatever I wanted. The only part that sucked was coming in an hour early to make up the time.

Also, I hate what I call "stupid" humor. All these books, movies and shows that rely overmuch on embarrassment as their funnies. I over empathize with characters and get embarrassed for them and can't read/watch because it makes me extremely uncomfortable. I want comedy that's actually comedy not just laughing at another person's expense.
