getting up at night

My 4-year old, who has been STTN in her room by herself since she was 13 months, has all of the sudden started getting up in the middle of the night. She says she doesn't want to be alone and wants me or DH to lay in her room with her. 

We have been doing this the past few nights, but it's hard on us b/c of the loss of sleep. 

Is there anything we can do?
