Drinks?

Sorry I've been MIA the past few days, we've had doctors appointments and even an er visit this week. Alcohol was much needed today. I started off with a shot of belvedere(blame this one on my inlaws) and now I'm drinking Dos Equis. Very ready for this week to be over. Who else is drinking tonight? What are you having?

@alicia0817 much better! I have knee issues and I slammed my bad knee into our bed the other night and it turned black and blue and got really swollen, so we went to rule out a fracture. No fracture, but due to the swelling and tenderness they threw strong pain meds at me. I don't feel comfortable taking stuff like that because at night M relys on me. DH sleeps through everything. If I took something that knocked me out and she needed me, but I wasn't there, I'd feel awful.

And on top of all of that M is teething early(pedi confirmed) and she's been super fussy and clingy. FIL had the audacity to say, "I told you not to hold her all the time. Now she's spoiled and you're screwed." Um...are you effing kidding me?!? She's teething! I told him that you can't spoil a baby this young and that was confirmed by her pedi and his response was, "your pediatrician is an effing dumbass." I'm so over it. I had to just walk away.

Water for me tonight. I chose to eat a Russell Stover S'more earlier and gave up my beer for the night.  Consequences for being a fat girl.

edit: I'm referring to myself as the fat girl...I didn't want anyone to misunderstand that.

My mil used to do it all the time... I believe she just tied the stroller to a pole! I'm not kidding! But I do love , you have a baby in a bar .... (some reese Witherspoon movie).I wouldn't recommend following in mil footsteps lol!

Had about a glass and a half of cupcake "red velvet" wine tonight--figured it was a special occasion since DH has a friend in town for work and he came over for dinner and was having a beer--couldn't let him drink alone!

I want to try the Red Velvet, but I'm nervous that it's going to be sweet, like a red moscato. I don't like super sweet wines. If they're too sweet, I can only stand 1 glass, lol.
