Why do my posts show up in one long paragraph?

When I write a post, I usually put a couple of spaces/lines between some sentences when trying to separate ideas. But no matter how many spaces I put between sentences or paragraphs, TB keeps smushing it into one long sentence. Why?

Mine does that when I respond from my iPad (which is always). But I noticed when I am quoted it shows up how I originally typed it.
