I hate my fucking job

So much. I fantasize about quitting every single day. A fucking monkey could do my job. It's seriously so far below my skill level, I feel like I get dumber by the day. I just got pissed off at the phone for ringing because I'm tired of being a glorified motherfucking receptionist. I should be the fucking office manager. That's the only reason I took the goddamn job in the first place. I was lead to believe that I would eventually take on that role. Instead they hired some other chick from outside of the company. I honestly really hate to play the race card, but I'm the only person of color in this office and in my gut I know that has something to do with it. Unfortunately I can't prove it. I've been looking for other jobs in the area but so far I haven't had any response. I feel so stuck here right now and I hate it. If I was at least making decent money it wouldn't be so frustrating. I actually took a pay cut to work here because it's 15 minutes from home and again I thought I would be moving up in ranks. I also only had the one kid to support at the time. I spend half my paycheck (literally) on daycare for the baby. I'm sorry I'm rambling, but I'm just feeling really down today and I needed to get it out. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

I'm so sorry.  Being miserable at work is awful.  I was so miserable at my last job.  It eventually started to leak over into my personal life. I was a bitch in the evenings.  Sunday's were a total wash b/c I was so pissed that I had to go back to work and it was only Monday.  I just fucking hated it. 

I did eventually find something that I really do like.  I hope something turns up for you soon.  I know how bad it sucks to hate somewhere that you have to spend so much time.

@mabelshesthebomb I just returned from a bathroom crying sesh. I would have gone to my car, but I forgot to grab my keys and the tears were already flowing so I didn't want to go back in the office and risk being seen.

you have all my sorries.  i hated my last job and it had such an impact on the rest of my life.  i still get sweaty hands when i drive past my old job.

I'm sorry @reesefox.  I hope something comes up that better suits you.  I can relate, which is why I am a SAHM right now, even though I am thinking of finding something PT just to get out once in a while.

Sorry you're having a hard time!  I totally feel your pain.  I hate my job right now too.  I'm supposed to give my notice next week sometime.  I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!
