Makes sense to me that Mason has serious appeal in states with stronger historical Union ties.
Liam looks to be big in less densely populated states. Makes sense; it's one of those names that feels better if you don't already know someone who has a Liam.
Also, Utah is clearly culturally part of the South.
Girls was kind of boring unless you're in Florida or Idaho:
Denser populations seem to drive Sophia over Emma. Wanna go CRAZY? Don't end your girl's name with A.
