adjusting the rise on BB

When should I adjust the rise setting on my BBs? I checked both nicki'sdiapers.com and bestbottoms.com and I didn't see anything about how big DD needs to be before adjusting the rise.

  • I had to adjust once I noticed LO's crack sticking out of the top of the dipes, haha!

  • I've found they run super small, so we adjusted the rise setting a lot earlier than in other diapers.

  • is there anything I can be on the look out for as far as the fit goes? I tried the next rise setting and really couldn't see a difference in the fit.

  • I think as long as you're happy with where the rise hits and the legs are snug enough that you don't get leaks, you're good to go. We moved up recently because the rise was so short we were starting to get leaks up at the top and it was becoming too snug overall and harder to fasten.

  • Crack is whack, yo! @TJ1979

Be sure when you adjust the rise that you don't see gaps around LO's legs. Lift her feet toward her belly to be sure you can't see her behind. Otherwise she will invariably decide to sit like that and pee straight out the leg 15 minutes after you put her in her cutest outfit.
