Jello shots

If you've made them, what are your favorite kinds?  Do you use a brand of booze over another for a better result?

I made vodka gummy bears and they were good.  I've never actually made jello shots though.

I've made them and I like grape, cherry and lime. I've only ever used vodka.

I should ask to include recipes if you have them.  I have made ones like jager bombs and cherry cola before, and they were yummy.

I was going to say the same thing.  Minus the everclear part.  We used vodka, I think, and some sort of red jello.  Based on the fact that I don't remember much of that evening, it must have worked out ok.

I do flavored vodkas. I have done pineapple jello with Malibu rum. I love jello shots

Oh my gosh the cupcake ones sound good! I made a bunch of flavors once but the best were strawberry jello with 99 bananas in it....Yum!

Meh. They were brand new in a vacuum sealed package, and washed in hot, soapy water first. And they were definitely a hit at last years Halloween party.

Oh, I know they are sterile. It's purely a psychological thing, the same way just seeing a needle freaks some people out, even if they aren't getting the shot.

We used to make Jell-O shot cakes for people's 21st bdays in college. We always used vodka.
