Mediation update

Well today was long as can be but we made some progress. We were able to get everything figured out with the house and the money we will make off of it so that's a relief. Most will payoff joint debt which is a load off. We have a temporary parenting plan for Pearson. It's what I was hoping for so we will see if Ex actually holds up his end. We are also going to go to family child therapy to talk about what's in the best interest for Pearson. I'm actually really excited to go talk to he therapist. We will go once a week for 4 weeks and re-evaluate at the end of October. All in all it went really well. Still have a ways to go, but just the fact that we made this much progress is awesome. I talked to the owner after my last meeting (my lawyer was 35 minutes late) and he is now representing me and did a fabulous job. He made me feel great about what I have done for Pearson and stood up for everything Pearson should have. Thank you again for all of the thoughts. They sure are working ladies! Thank you!!

So glad to hear that today went well! I know it will be a long road but it's so nice that you are feeling optimistic. I hope it all continues that way and ends up in the best possible way.

I am so glad that things went well today.  It is a huge relief to finally get some things worked out and a plan set up.  The family child therapy sounds like a great thing and I hope that it gets you and your Ex on the same page about Pearson.
