Cracked tooth

DD face planted in the driveway this morning, scraped her face up and cracked one of her top front teeth. It took all of my mommy strength to hold myself together. After an emergency trip to a pediatric dentist, a ton of screaming and crying and blood, they had to pull the tooth. My poor DD will have a big gap until her adult teeth come in. And, of course, DH is out of town on a business trip.

Aw, poor baby! I don't know that I would've held it together. I cried when H threw up so hard he couldn't breathe, I'd really break down over a face plant in concrete!

My DD knocked out one of her teeth on the coffee table last April. Don't beat yourself up about it. The dentist assured me that it was normal and baby teeth are just not as firmly attached to the gums, so they get knocked out more easily than adult teeth.

Oh poor thing! Everything always happens when DH is out of town! My DS was a master face planter. Luckily he never knocked out a tooth, but he constantly had a scraped up nose and forehead from falling on his face. I always felt awful, but it happens! It is all part of growing up. I hope she feels better soon

Oh no! Poor little thing, and poor mommy too! FWIW, DH fell from a chair when he was a toddler and lost his front tooth. He just looks little a cute little kid who lost his front tooth in all of his pictures. I hope your DD feels better soon. (((Hugs)))
