Do you FMU? (always?)

When you POAS do you always use FMU?  With both DS and DD I did, and, well, I guess I'm kinda superstitious about it now.  So what do you do when you have a date picked to test- use FMU or whatever works for you/your schedule?

I've always used FMU for an HPT (never seen a positive) and I usually use SMU for an OPK, as well as testing later in the day after minimal drinking and holding it for a few hours.

I always use FMU for HPTs.  It's how I keep myself from testing early.  I purposely keep all HPTs downstairs and there's no way that I'm going to go downstairs in my bleary-eyed, barely-functioning morning state.

For OPKs, I test around 5pm.

Another FMU user here. One time I retested in the afternoon to confirm that I wasn't seeing things and the line was significantly lighter.  That freaked me out so I just never did it again.  Irrational, probably, but it saves me from spending my whole day and way too much money peeing on sticks.

This.  As long as your urine isn't too diluted, you can test whenever.  The suggestion to use FMU is because most people don't get up to drink/pee a lot throughout the night.

When I got my BFP with DD, we had flown back from New Zealand early that morning (we were living in Australia at the time) and I was 15 dpo, so I just tested whenever we got back.  It was a blaringly obvious positive. 

I haven't taken a test yet while TFAS but if I do it would be FMU on the day AF is due if my temp is still up.

OPKs I do in the afternoon while DD is napping because I don't need a curious toddler asking questions.  I try to not pee for 2 hrs beforehand.  That is about the best I can do during the day.

Not really. I know it's better to use FMU if you're testing early, but if I get the urge to test in the middle of the day, I'll do it. That's the good thing about having tons of cheapies, I don't feel bad about wasting them. 

Pretty much the same for OPKs, I test whenever I get the urge.

Yes.  I always peed in a cup and tested with FMU for pregnancy tests.  I peed in a cup and tested in the evening for OPKs.

I had no idea until I was already pregnant with DD that you were supposed to use FMU. With my blighted ovum and with DD I tested in the evening. I have no idea how many DPO I was. I use FMU now....usually.
