Okay, so, DH has an awesome HRA program at work. They made some insurance changes which go into effect 10/1. With the new insurance there is no HRA program.
After these changes were made, we got a letter from the current HRA company, with the balance and notifying us that they expire 11/1. So, I called this morning and made eye appointments for everyone. Exams are free but glasses & contacts aren't. Why wouldn't I use the significant amount of money before it expires?
I text DH to let him know when the appts were and he tells me the HR lady said they expire 10/1. So, I had to call back and they are squeezing us in on Friday, and he'll submit the receipts on Monday 10/1. His company has been jerking them around over insurance issues and getting all of their information together. It's just been a mess & I'm getting irritated. I didn't call to schedule appointments two weeks ago because I thought we had another month & I needed to see how the schedules were looking.
