I'm bumping before work...

DS is still asleep and I'm awake. It's weird to have free time in the morning, although I need to shower soon.

Of course, the reason DS is asleep and I'm awake is that little booger wouldn't go to bed last night and I just gave in and went to sleep with him in our bed around 10 PM. Maybe I should start going to bed early more. I'd lose my night time free time, but it's nice to feel well rested on a Monday morning.

  • I kind of love it when I wake before DD. Sometimes I just sit there with my cup of coffee and look out the window. Quiet isn't something I'm used to in my house.

  • I woke up before the girls today as well. It doesn't happen often and only today because E is two today.

Couldn't sleep well last night because of her birthday. It's weird! I don't know if its because I'm excited or crazy hormonal mommy.

I was able to bake some biscuits and get some cleaning done.

  • I usually wait to drink my coffee at work simply so I can have it be hot and delicious.

Oh, and it's free and good.

  • I set my alarm to get up before DS during the week. Sitting on the couch drinking coffee with the news on is my own slice of heaven on work days.

    And two days old.  :-&
Nah, the work coffee is freshly ground by the machine.

The two day old is at home!

DD wakes up by 6:45 every day. DS is taking after his sister, only worse, and has decided 5:30am is a good time to wake for the day. The AM rush in our house is fun. I don't eat breakfast or drink any coffee until I get to work and sit down at my desk. ::weeps silently::
Desk breakfast is pretty sweet though. Plus it gives me an excuse to bump and get nothing done for a good 20 minutes when I get here.

My neighbor offered me 2-day old coffee the other week. I was thinking who does this and then remembered LD. Yuck.
Hey, I would always brew a fresh pot for a neighbor or even DW. It's kind of like cooking for one vs. cooking for two.

  • Fuck, I forgot coffee and creamer at the store today.  This is not a good Monday.

I think you might get fired. Or are you the coffee drinker in your house?

  • DH drinks coffee but not at home.  I will fire myself @luckydad.  I may send DH to the store if he comes home soon.  It wouldn't be good for his sanity either if I don't have coffee.
