We are due Feb 10th and having trouble with names...ugh everything I hear or read I dont like! I didnt have this much trouble with our first! lol please help ladies! TIA!

We aren't grumpy, it's just that people who are "members" of this board know how obnoxious it becomes when the board is consumed with questions relating to naming your child. There was actually a lengthy post yesterday regarding this same issue.

It's not about deleting, it's about while you may have been lurking, this is the FIRST time you've ever posted here.  Nobody knows you, not even your online personality, what your life is like, or your pregnancy, your family, what you're carrying, etc.

That's kinda like me knocking on your door & asking you what house I should buy.  There's a lot of factors to name suggestions, & tons of names to suggest.  Most of this board prefers to know you before we toss out name ideas, & I don't see any intro by you, unless I totally missed it.

The 2013 Baby Name Wizard book is supposed to be good...I've bought it, haven't opened it yet.  GL on a name (the BNB does love to discuss it, all day, every day, regardless of who you are, b/c they love names more than the people asking).

As someone who's always been super into etymology and the evolution of given names throughout history, I've got a billion favorite boy names that my husband has pretty much veto'd. LOL! So I have no qualms with sharing some with you if it helps at all! 

- Finn (also spelled Fionn) 

- Julian 

- Casey 

- Jeremy 

- Theodore (Teddy!) 

- Levi 

- Forrest 

- Harvey 

- Rowan 

- Arlo 

- Reed

- Archie 

- Sebastian 

- Ulysses (I'd use that one as a middle name, if the baby's got more of a familiar/conservative first name. It's such a strong name, steeped in history) 

Enjoy your search for the name - you never know where inspiration will strike from. Keep your eyes and ears open! you've got lots of time, and you may not even narrow it down until after the baby's born! That's okay too :-)
