Good morning!
I am finally confident enough to say hello and officially join in on the fun!
I've had quite a roller coaster ride (when actually everything has been fine and normal)! I got my BFP on 9/12 after visiting our RE to discuss doing an FET in January. We had our daughter via IVF and had been trying on our since May. I didn't want to go through all the emotions when I had some frozen embryos, never expecting we could do it on our own.
I called my OBGYN and got blood work done on 9/13, the day my period was actually due. It was a 14, but they were okay with that considering how early I tested. I went back on 9/16 for repeat bloodwork. On 9/17, the nurse called me with the results and said they were zero. I was so confused, because the 11 (yes, 11!!) tests I took over the weekend on got darker and darker. Went back for more bloodwork that day to confirm. They told me it was probably a chemical pregnancy. Fast forward to 9/18 - the nurse called and my results were 166, which means the lab made an error. They retested my results from 9/16 and they were actually 103, not 0! I had one more round done on Friday, 9/20 and just got the results for that, which were 639.
I'm super happy with the rises for my numbers, and finally relieved enough to let it sink in! I was previously a February 2011 mommy, so I can't wait to see how my little girl does as a big sister! We don't plan to tell her until our ultrasound on 10/10.
