Hello ladies.. I was wondering if PPD can happen 2 months after giving birth.

I was a wreck for two weeks straight right after having my son.. But then was only sad/depressed when I was extra tired.. But now about 2 months later I'm feeling really low.

If it can happen 2 months later.. Can it come on suddenly?

    Yes.  PPD can happen any time w/in the first year after birth.  Mine hit me like a Mack truck at 7 months PP.  

    I'm sure it can come on suddenly...although mine hit me hard at 7 months PP, I can now look back at some of the things I was doing and how I was acting shortly after birth and realize it wasn't normal.  I just didn't know that at the time, so I never spoke up until things were REALLY bad.  If you are feeling this way I would speak up now to prevent things from getting worse.
