As expecting mom's and some current mom's - I ask you all to say a little prayer and send good thoughts and vibes to my friend Sara and baby Kaine.
Today she gave birth to her first son Kaine while her husband is currently on an extended deployment in the navy. Kaine is now in the NICU with a feeding tube and is awaiting surgery to fix his esophagus that is not attached. Unfortunately at this time Kaine is still waiting for his daddy to be contacted via Red Cross and hopefully will be sent home for emergency leave .
We need all the help we can get and I'm seeking you all to lend some love to Kaine and Sara!
Thank you!
Jessica

Kaine had his surgery and out of 5 potential side effects with his esophagus he only has 1 - it being attached to the trachea and they were able to fix it. Good news again Daddy is being sent home via Red Cross and should be here at some point today. The doctors and nursery have been wonderful - I spent the day with Sara while Kaine was in surgery for 5 1/2 hours! Each doctor was so understanding and compassionate and Mommy is doing great! She was released today and the hospital has arranged for mom and dad to stay overnight in a NICU room to be with Kaine!
Thank you all for your prayers!!!
