(The board is slow so I'll provide some entertainment and use this as a way to vent.)

If one more person asks me, "Are you still pregnant?" I'm going to let the snark out!

Like Ive said in another post, I'm a complete grumpy pants lately. I almost didn't go to church today because I knew I'd get plenty of unwanted comments. But I decided to try to have a good attitude and go anyway. Here is the list of comments I got:

"You're still here?" (x4) - uh obviously
"You're still pregnant?" - you're kidding, right?
"How much longer until you have that baby?" - let me ask my crystal ball
"So are you just gonna wait until your due date to have him?" - I did actually respond with this snarky comment "Actually I'm trying to be pregnant as long as possible because I just love it." I couldn't help myself.
"Are you sure there's not triplets in there?" - that was my personal favorite.

I'm not even due until this Friday people. Give me a break! Needless to say, if I am still pregnant next Sunday, I will not be going anywhere!

@wheelerc that's exactly it. People don't know what to say. I did however have one wonderful comment and it was from my pastors wife. She said, "You look beautiful!" I was like, "Aw that's my favorite comment today!" I need to remember what not to and what to say to pregnant ladies!

@hibiscus29 I think that's why I'm so bothered by it. It'd be one thing if I was overdue, maybe. But I'm not. I'm also hating that because I was 6 days early with Wesley, people have assumed I'd be early or earlier with this one too. So maybe that's why people are saying things.

@mommymaddness I think you're right. It just never feels that way at the time

People say the stupidest things!  I swear pregnancy makes people lose their filter and forget social etiquette. It is completely acceptable to respond with snark especially to such rude/dumb questions.  You look great and your LO will be here soon!
