Hi ladies. I think it is time to start hanging out over here if you will have me. I have been posting on IF since 2/2011 but took a long break and have been pretty active since 12/2012. A lot of my information is in the signature. I just found out IVF #5 didn't work. After overcoming so many battles in that cycle, I am feeling a little broken by it all. I've learned so much from the site that I am waiting on a reply to my 3 page e-mail to my RE about what else we need to check or test. I feel like my hands are tied since most therapies aren't an option for us. OK.. enough of my whining.

I really just want to be able to talk to people who understand that even if nothing happens, bad days come and go often, as well as good and ok days.

Thanks for the welcome. No. I am in NJ and switched to RMA of NJ the beginning of this year. I have been very happy with them. I would say they have similar rates but RMA does so many more cycles that they might have more information. RMA sees only 1-2 women with SER aggregates per year (and they do over 3,000 cycles). So they do have some treatment options that have worked. Mine were just some of the worst they had seen ever and with DH's azoo, it's just a poor blend of dx's.

I may call and ask though if they have seen them and treated that dx. Can't hurt, right?

Welcome to IFV but I'm sorry you find yourself here. I too was / am a patient of RMA of NJ (I recently found success with them). I think they do operate like a very well oiled machine and have a very good lab but I often wonder if they really know how to deal with the super tough or special cases or if they just have a good set up and rely on that. Either way I hope you find success.

Thanks again. I really can't complain about RMA. There are only 4 or 5 published medical articles on SER aggregates and my RE read them all (Even if it meant me buying the newest ones and e-mailing them to him with oodles of questions). My RE has successfully treated the condition before and he enrolled me in this current free study to see if my condition improved with no stims. And it did work, I finally got a blast- which was my biggest hurdle. So it not working just fills me with questions. I can't justify spending 20k on an IVF cycle for one egg, hoping it makes it all the way to blast. My RE thinks he can alter some hormones so we can get maybe 2 or 3 eggs, but still the odds are so low. And who knows if there is a problem once it's put back.

No answers, no plan- completely lost.
