So i'm pretty new to the bump and i've already seen a large number of ladies asking a group of internet strangers if they are pregnant. i'm just going to save you the heartbreak and tell you that
1) you should take a test. we cannot tell you you are pregnant just because you have "all the symptoms".
2) if your test is negative and you still don't believe take another. and if they continue to be negative, then you probably ARE NOT pregnant. if you still feel pregnant, then get a blood test. if it too is negative and you still feel pregnant, i'm fresh out of suggestions.
3) don't get offended/heartbroken when ladies tell you truth, even if it's not what you want to hear. if you ask for opinions, you will get them whether you agree with them or not.

4) it's just the internet. Enjoy and good luck!
Really you think every woman that has a few negative tests should go get a blood test? Way to recommend that they waste money and drive up the cost of health insurance for everyone.
If you are going to give out advice to people who come on here asking if they are pregnant the correct advice is for them to take a test. If the test is negative, then they are not pregnant. They should continue testing once a week until they get their period, get a positive test, or hit CD 60. If they hit CD 60 then it is time to call the doctor who can perscribe provera to induce a cycle and will probably give them a pregnancy test (I don't know if it will be a urine or blood, since I have never been on provera).

um, did i not say they the person with multiple pregnancy tests is probably NOT PREGNANT? and no i do not think a few negative hpt's equals automatic trip to the doctor. i said that in an assumption that the trip to the doc would come after no period still and multiple negative tests. perhaps i needed to specify a time frame? and even then there are gonna be a few women who will come here and ask if they are pregnant still.
anywho, anyone with specific info they would like to add, feel free.

Specifying a time frame is exactly what you should do. Some women would assume "Oh, if I have taken 10 tests in the last week, I might as well hop over to the doctor for bloodwork." You can't assume everyone is going to interpret what you say in the correct manner. Above PP said it perfectly. Test weekly until + or no AF for 60 days, then see your OB.
All the women that came to this site to ask if they are pregnant are going to keep coming. Unfortunately, they most likely will never read this. I mean, TTGP has a post at the top of there page that says "New to TTGP? Click here!" and yet, day after day women ask the same. damn. question.

Reread your post. Your exact wording is "if your test is negative and you still don't believe take another. and if they continue to be negative, then you probably ARE NOT pregnant. if you still feel pregnant, then get a blood test." Sounds like you are telling women that if you continue to get negative tests to get a blood test.
It doesn't really matter though, anyone that is going to ask a board full of internet strangers if they are pregnant is not going to take the time to read this post first.
