I don't hate Caillou as much as the rest of you, but not a fan. He's whiny and annoying. But I think the message at least attempts to be better than some others. When he's mean to Rosie, he feels bad and tries to fix it. He likes helping mommy and daddy, etc.
I hate Thomas where the trains are always doing dumbass things and then fixing their own mistakes and getting rewarded.

If by scared you mean that I dread my son seeing it as we switch channels, which means he'll beg to watch it when I hate it, then yes.  He's a whiny shithead and isn't someone I want my kid learning to be like so we don't willingly put it on.
