I will elaborate later, but right now DH and I are having a really strange conversation with his parents.  Does anyone here purchase food from Schwans?  Where is it packaged?  I can't find it online?  Thank you and I'll be back later to explain :)

    too lazy to look now.  :Legs hurt, back hurts, ran 6 miles in 62 minutes today.

    I grew up near Marshall, they have trucks (with freezers) that cover a HUGE sales area I know for sure in MN and SD. I lived on a farm and they would come once a week to our house! Their ice cream products are awesome!!! Love it! They also have chicken breast that are induvially wrapped. They nice. They have little loaves of bread they are good too!

    Sorry for the long post I love most of the stuff I have ordered from there and where I live now I can't get it! I miss it!!! Now I am craving it!

    From what my dad says it's packaged in MN he's worked for schwans for a loooong time

    Ok, here's the back story.  MIL orders a ton from them, but told us she would no longer buy their fish because it comes from China.  And I quote, "Even if it says Alaskan or Wild Salmon, it's packaged in China."  I kind of wanted to ask where she thought most of her clothes came from, but decided to stay on topic.  At any rate, she has decided having fish shipped from Pike's Market in Seattle is a better option and just as cost effective as the local grocery store (which she also believes to get it's fish from, or packaged in, China).  I figured since I don't buy their food, I would ask people who do because it doesn't say where it's packaged or from when you look at the foods online.
