Holy shit. We were out to dinner with my family and my inlaws. Fil started choking on a piece of meat. Like full on hands around his neck couldn't breathe. Dh calmly wiped his hands, stood up and smacked him hard twice on the back. Meat came flying out and dh just sat down and took a (big) swig of beer. Fil was totally fine and a little embarrassed. Poor mil was a wreck. Thank goodness he was ok.
