Bleeding again after none?

Can anyone tell me if this is normal? C-section was 10 days ago. Absolutely no bleeding (not even spotting) for 3-4 days. This afternoon, I moved funny and got a sharp pain, but was totally incisional. Now, I've got bright red bleeding. Not enough to completely fill a pad, but enough that I leaked and had to wash my clothes. I know bleeding can come and go, but is it still okay if it's bright red?

I would say it is normal. Your uterus is still contracting for ~6 weeks. I have had light bleeding to none back to heavy bleeding back to light and am ~5 weeks pp. as long as you are not soaking pads I would not be worried.

Thanks for the quick response! It seems to have slowed. DH has confined me to the couch. If it picks up, I'll give the doc a call.

I experienced the same thing with my CS and my doctor said it is normal.
