So, before I decide to go get another test or call my doctor's office I thought I would ask you lovely ladies what you think. We have been TTC for about 3 months now after getting off of nuva ring. The first two months I was pretty regular at 33 and 34 days with a 7 day period (just like I was before I ever started BC). August rolls around and I miss my period. I wait until its a week late to take a test. I took two - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - both came out negative. Then a week (to a T) later my period starts, but it only lasts 5 days and it was relatively light the whole time. I've been cramping like crazy the last couple of weeks. Now usually that is normal for me because I have PBS/IC (painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis - high acidic foods cause muscle spasms of the bladder), but these cramps have been coming when they normally wouldn't, after eating foods that don't normally cause me to have pains.
I had to go to my doctor this week for an ankle sprain, so I asked her about it. I also told her about all the crazy acne that has been breaking out on my arms and neck; something that hasn't happened to me this bad since I was in high school. She said it could be one of two things or both: it could be my body simply changing, or I could have had a late fertilized egg that was unable to implant to the wall of my uterus in time. This would explain the late period.
But the issue I'm having is that I am bleeding again. I don't think it's too heavy, but my hubby and I had sex last night and I wake up with blood on my legs. That is not normal for me AT ALL and I'm freaking out. I am the kind of person that likes to know exactly what's going on with my body, and when something weird happens it freaks me out. HELP/ADVICE!!!! PLEASE!!!!
Re: Advice please, I'm a hypochondriac
Thanks so much for responding. I've thought about getting in to the whole charting thing, but DH and I aren't like super trying if you know what I mean. We just aren't using birth control; just seeing how things. I'm super impatient though and have been having "empty womb syndrome" for a while now. Anyways, I'll see how things go. I just hate it when my body does weird things that I can't definitively explain...erg!
Thanks again!
