Once I am sleeping, I am good its getting to sleep that sucks. Battling with this rapid heart rate success. I am going to text me boss later who is a cardiologist to see if there are any natural remedies I can try. It's driving me nuts.
Yesterday I didn't do much. Watched a movie with DH, while I was sleeping my BFF dropped off some cupcakes I told her I've been dying to try. They are called Melissa's cupcakes. They were so good. I also worked on LOs blanket.
Qotd: I've never really put any thought into it. I do know alot of ppl including my 17p nurse thinks the vaccines have a connection with autism. I think I am going to still give them to my baby girl at the time dr request.
Morning, hope everyone is doing well! I slept great last night, got in 7 hours!! Nothing new going on. My BFFs came to the hospital last night and brought me Chili's for dinner and stayed for 3 hours, it was awesome! My one BFF is pregnant and having a C section on Tuesday so between that and my HBR I will not see her for a while. DH and DS are coming to visit and I am so excited! I have not seen them since Wednesday:( Oh, and tomorrow will be 30 weeks.....yay!
QOTD: with DS we chose to do the normal vaccination schedule and will this time around as well. I trust my doctor to give me sound advise, they are the experts, not me.
I slept meh... I got a phone call from my OB late afternoon telling me my lab work came in... and I have pre-eclampsia. I pretty much knew the diagnosis was coming, and it was only matter of WHEN. I am to have my bags packed and ready by my 35 week apt next week as perinatologist will most likely request hospital bedrest/observation at this point.
I have been able to get away with it being an L&D nurse, I've been pretty much monitoring my pressures, symptoms, even testing my urine and doing my version of NSTs lol at home... but now things need to go 'on record'
@kneenah1231 those cupcakes look GOOOOOD!!!! And I'm sorry about the elevated heart rate keep us posted what the cardio says
qotd I am pro vaccinations!!!! However, I am going with the 'delayed schedule' vaccination route... Sawyer will eventually catch up and have all the recommended ones by the time she starts school but I would like to space them out a little more than the current recommendations. I don't believe in the vaccine=autism causation. But Id like to give her little body a little more time to heal and process in between!
So I am going to enjoy the next 3 days at home with my doggies, and help MH finish unpacking the house and getting it ready... We only have about 5 upacked boxes in the house, but we still need to wash babys clothes, hang all our paintings/pictures and wall décor, and do a major major cleaning. I am not even going to start worrying about that ATROCIOUS garage that is a hot hot mess and packed to the rim with boxes!
Update: 32w 4d cannot wait to go home. Talked to MFM yesterday. We had an u/s and kids look great. They will do another u/s on Tuesday and re-check my cervix just a couple more times, but at this point, they expect it to start dilating. I am shortened but not dilating yet. I will have weekly u/s w MFM once I go home. Slept ok last night. During the last two nights, I seem to fall asleep while on my phone then wake up hours later with tv and lights on. I guess I just don't want to go to bed.
QOTD: I will absolutely be vaccinating my children according to the recommended pediatric schedule. My sister is a pediatrician and we have a lot of doctors in my family. My sister does not allow alternative or non-vaccinators in her practice for the safety of her compliant patients. I agree with this and am going to a similarly minded practice. I realize this is controversial, but there is no evidence that vaccinations cause autism. ... Stopping here bc it is too controversial...

Good Morning! late morning! I was put on bed rest yesterday after a night in the hospital for observation for BP. Blood work and everything came back normal. Baby's still active as ever, if not more. I'm 32w and 3d. I won't know for how long but will find out when I go in for my ob appt on Thursday.
I think I slept pretty great! Especially after a night at the hospital
Qotd: We decided to go ahead with the normal pediatric schedule.
Morning all! Craving cupcakes....wonder why? ;-) 22 weeks today! Yessss! My lofty goal at this point is 30 weeks, sad about that, but better than nothing. Sleeping best I can at hospital, so that's good. DH and DSs coming over to visit today, can't wait to get my fix. Hope everyone is able to enjoy the weekend a little bit and stay out of L&D.
QOTD: I vaccinated on schedule for both of my boys with no side effects. I think Hep C at birth is a little overkill, but they get it a few months later anyway.
