DS woke up at 11 last night with a fever, 100.8. He went back to sleep and this morning it was 101.2. It broke pretty quick this morning but by this afternoon, he was about 100 (he normally runs around 97.6). He is clingy but had been eating and sleeping fine. We got word that BIL's gf is in labor. So I should probably not take DS to the hospital tomorrow to see the baby, right? Or what would you do? They live in the same city, so its not like we won't get more chances to see the baby.

I wouldn't with a fever/illness.

The hospital may not even allow visitors that young if they're not siblings, but especially not if they're showing any signs of illness.

Naw, I think you have to pass. Your LO running a fever is a pretty darn good excuse too... a new, protective mom probably won't want you there anyways
