squeaky shoes

I'm looking for squeaky/squeaker shoes for toddlers. Does anyone know if I can find them in a store anywhere? I would prefer that than ordering them online and having to pay for shipping. Thanks.

A friend of mine sent a pair to us.. they have an air pocket in them so as you walk they squeek... Luckily they were pre-owned so I didn't feel so bad about not using them.  I  think she sent them more as a joke on us ..than actually expecting us to use them lol.

Buying them for someone for a shower gift.  You can take the squeaker out usually.

My mil got us hide n squeak brand shoes for our daughter. They're very cute. Kids like the sound and like the idea of making noise, but the only way to do so is to step. She has brown and pink Mary Jane styled ones, but they come in tons of styles and colors. I think she got them on amazon.com.

I think they are intended to help kids who walk on their toes.  The only way they squeak is if the child steps on his/her heels.  So, they help teach a toe walker to walk normally (with heel).

Interesting...DD is somewhat of a toe walker (she's getting better though).  I saw a baby wearing these on some tv show recently (can't think of what), and thought they were annoying, but DD does loooove making sounds.  Might be worth looking into.

We actually just bought some on Amazon. They are YochiYochi brand. My son just turned 1 so he is a brand new walking and he dies for them. They aren't great quality but they are very light and easy for early walkers to use.

We bought some off of Zulily for fun. My LO loved them. You can take the squeaker out once you get tired of hearing the constant squeak. But they were really cute. We had sandals and mary jane style.

I have only seen them online. Not sure if you can get them in a store.
